Biodiversity Net Gain

Biodiversity Net Gain provides a mechanism enhance the ecological biodiversity of large areas of the UK. 

 

Aspect Nature Reserve was one of the first sites in the UK to be registered for BNG credits, receiving accreditation in March 2025.

If you are a developer, by purchasing BNG credits from Aspect Nature Reserve you will, in addition to enhancing the biodiversity of West Sussex, be supporting a facility that will provide a wealth of educational opportunities and community engagement for local school children.

The income generated from the BNG credits is used to further the educational and ecological aims of the organisation.

We are keen to share our experience with BNG credits (both the good and the bad!) to help others on their BNG journey.
